Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup soy sauce,
- 1 lbs ground turkey or black beans,
- 1/3 cup brown sugar, packed,
- 1 tsp sesame oil,
- 1 Tbsp olive oil,
- 3 cloves garlic, minced,
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced,
- 1/3 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (or to taste),
- 1/4 tsp ground ginger,
- Cooked rice, for serving .
Directions:
Step 1
In a small bowl, whisk together brown sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil, red pepper flakes, and ginger.Step 2
Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Add garlic and cook stirring constantly until fragrant, about 1 minute.Step 3
Add ground turkey and cook until browned, about 3-5 minutes, making sure to crumble turkey as it cooks; drain excess fat.Step 4
Stir in soy sauce mixture and green onions until well combined, allowing to simmer until heated through, about 2 minutes.Step 5
Plate and top as you wish, serve immediately with rice.Step 6
