Ingredients
Apple filling:
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 100 g sultanas
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 egg lightly beaten for brush
- 3 grainy smith apple (diced)
- 40 g salted butter
- 3 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tbsp sugar
Buttery Pie Crust:
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp very cold water
- 2 1/2 cup All purpose flour
- 1 cup cold butter
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar

Step 1
For buttery pie crust: Put cold butter and powdered sugar in a food processor, mix 1 minutes. Add flour and cold water. mix it until it form a ball. rest for 30 minutes in a fridgeStep 2
For apple filling: put all ingredients together in the pot. cook it for 15 minutes. let it cool.Step 3
Assemble the pie and brush it with egg wash and sprinkle raw sugar on top of the pieStep 4
Bake in the oven 180 C for 45 minutesI suggest you to eat this pie with Vanilla ice cream.
